Recently, "Meeting on Feasibility Study of the Disabled Employment Cooperation Project" was held at the ShanghaiSocialInnovationIncubationPark. The meeting was jointly sponsored by the Municipal Enterprise Management Department and Social Innovation IncubationPark. The leading members of the welfare enterprise management agencies under the Civil Affairs Bureau at the central areas of the city attended the meeting..
The introduction and promotion of Shanghaimunicipal social innovation incubation pubic welfare project, business situations of the excellent public welfare projects of the incubation park, and the social functions and functions of public welfare organizations were discussed at the meeting. The meeting contributed to more cooperation opportunities for various districts (counties) and public welfare projects, to the improvement of the capacity of the disabled, to the recognition of the value and to the enhancement of the knowledge of the disadvantaged groups in the society. Besides, the relevant leading members of the public welfare project also detailed the current situation about, the domains involved in and the prospective vision of the public welfare incubation project.
With regard to the welfare enterprise service and management work for the following stage in the city, the meeting worked out a plan in the following four aspects: First, ten major projects at the incubation park are decided; second, the relevant preferential policies in favor of the welfare enterprises and employment of the disabled, which are deliberated and are ready to be implemented by Pudong New Area, Fengxian District, Jinshan District and other districts and counties in 2011, discussed; third, the relevant information from the municipal authorities circulated; and fourth, work for the next stage to be accomplished so as to establish a link-up, cross-border cooperation and resource integration among the demonstration districts.
